LEASE DRIVER

Yellow Cab leases cabs by the week. The driver keeps the cab 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Liability insurance and dispatch service is included. Orientation and established business is also provided. All drivers must obtain a “Taxicab Driver Permit” from the City and County of Sacramento. Download Lease Application [PDF]

Employee Requirements

If you meet the qualifications below, visit the Yellow Cab Co. business office located at 900 Richards Blvd. in Sacramento for more information.

• Must be at least 25 years of age to drive for Yellow Cab.
• No “major traffic violations” in past five (5) years such as any alcohol conviction, hit & run, reckless driving, speed contest or exhibition of speed, all convictions for illegal drugs and narcotics, auto theft, vehicle manslaughter. • No more than two (2) moving violations or one (1) moving violation and one (1) at-fault accident within the past year.
• No more than one (1) at-fault accident in the past year or three (3) accidents in the past five (5) years regardless of fault.
