Lease Driver

Yellow Cab leases cabs by the week. The driver keeps the cab 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Liability insurance and dispatch service is included. Orientation and established business is also provided. All drivers

Employee Driver

Employee drivers work for the company and are paid commission (not less than minimum wage), plus tips. Download Employment Application [PDF]

If you meet the qualifications below, visit the Yellow Cab Co. business office located at 900 Richards Blvd. in Sacramento for more information:

♦ Must be at least 25 years of age.

♦ No “major traffic violations” in past five (5) years such as any alcohol conviction, hit & run, reckless driving, speed contest or exhibition of speed, all convictions for illegal drugs and narcotics, auto theft, vehicle manslaughter. Call Operations Chief at (916) 442-4696 (ext. 3023) for additional MVR requirements by insurance carrier.

♦ No more than two (2) moving violations or one (1) moving violation and one (1) at-fault accident within the past year.

♦ No more than one (1) at-fault accident in the past year or three (3) accidents in the past five (5) years regardless of fault.
