The more details you provide when you contact us the better chance we have of finding what you have lost.
- Be specific about what you lost. Give us details like color, size, etc. Example: A set of 6 keys with a picture of a poodle on the key ring.
- Provide the date and time you left the item.
- Provide your pick-up address.
- Supply the driver’s name and cab number. These can be found on your receipt if you have one.
- If you leave a message, be sure to include your name and phone number so we can get back to you.
Absolutely! All of our drivers are independent contractors, which means they work for themselves and welcome repeat customers. If you like your driver and what to use him or her again, be sure to ask for their card. Or, get several cards – since they are self employed, they always appreciate your referrals.

Yellow Cab of Sacramento taxi drivers accept cash or credit or debit cars in their cab. If you book your ride using Curb, you can also pay with the app.

The average age of our taxis is 3 years, and we refresh 20% of the fleet every year. They are inspected by us at least every 5,000 miles and by the City of Sacramento once a year. If the unthinkable should happen, we’ll dispatch another cab right away to get you on your way quickly, and help our driver get back on the road with another vehicle.
